The Louisville sailing community supports many regattas that invite sailors from other regional sailing areas to compete with Louisville's own, as well as providing opportunities for local sailing clubs to to race with each other. While some are one-design events, others are mixed-fleet regattas with proceeds going to benefit organizations like the Sailing for a Cure Foundation, or the River Cities Community Sailing Program.
Below are just a few of the many regattas that take place throughout the summer. To find out more about one-design regatta's hosted by local sailing clubs just check the calendar pages for the Louisville Sailing Club and Derby City Sailing Club.
